1/2 cup brown sugar or ¼ - ½ cup natural sweetener i.e agave

1/2 cup oat milk

1 tbsp baking powder

Exotic add ins:

3 tsp maca powder

1/2 cup chopped pistachios

1/4 cup goji berry

1/4 cup sunflower seeds

1 large ripe banana

2 teaspoon brown sugar

1 tbsp sunflower seeds

  1. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees (Fan) and prepare a loaf tin with baking paper.

  2. In a large bowl, mash the bananas with a fork.

  4. Carefully pour the mixture into your prepared tin.

  5. Slice the remaining banana in half, lengthways, and place on top of your mixture.

  6. Sprinkle the sunflower seeds over the mixture and bananas, then sprinkle sugar over the bananas, this will help them to caramelise slightly.

  7. Now, bake the banana bread for 50-55 minutes, and try to wait patiently whilst inhaling the delicious sweet smell that slowly pours out of the oven

  8. Once baked through, remove from the oven and let it cool. Enjoy!
